Abstract

International Roughness Index (IRI) MEPDG model is the result of the calibration of national pavement data in the United States. For implementation in Indonesia, it is necessary to evaluate the calibration factor in the model. This study aims to assess the calibration factor of the IRI AASHTO MEPDG model for the Surabaya Gresik toll road pavement layer in the study area. This study used analysis of the global and local calibration factors of the MEPDG IRI model that compared with the measurement IRI. From the analysis results, the local calibration of The IRI MEPDG equation is IRI = IRI0 + 27.761 + 0.00825(SF) + 0.93094 (FC)+0.11016(TC). Calculation using global calibration, the bias between MEPDG IRI and measured IRI is 0.47 m/km. The bias decreased when using local calibration. The Bias between MEPDG IRI and the measured IRI is 0.04 m/km. However, the coefficient of determination and standard error of The IRI MEPDG model between the global and local IRI MEPDG calibrations did not change significantly.
