Abstract

Cimahi City Square and Gandawijaya is an area that has a lot of pedestrians so it is necessary to assess the LoS of pedestrian facilities. Aim of this study to identify the LoS of pedestrian facilities using the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) method and Ministry Public Works Regulation No. 03/PRT/M/2014. The next objective is to compare the method of calculating the LoS of pedestrian facilities. The results of the analysis show that the LoS on Gandawijaya Road mostly gets A and B scores. The LoS in the Cimahi City Square tends to vary between A-F. The LoS using the HCM method and the PU Guidelines method has the same categorization of service levels from A (best) to F (worst). The difference is in the standard LoS threshold value in each category. The PU Guidelines method has a higher standard threshold for all indicators compared to the HCM method.
